What is a HIP?
A HIP is an information pack about your property which you must provide to potential buyers of your property.
What is in a HIP?
All HIPs must include an Index, Energy Performance Certificate (EPC), Evidence of Title, Local & Water Searches and a Sale Statement. If the copy is leasehold, the HIP will contain a copy of the lease. These are the basic requirements, it is also possible to add items such as Seller's Forms, additional searches (optional) or a Home Condition Report (optional).
